To me, censorship is very necessary. Internet is just another way of communication, a form of online talking and online newspaper. Through internet, if people make friends and do entertainment, it's okay. But, the problem is that there maybe some religious groups and political groups out there which are the threats to our government. That is what the censorship for, to prevent groups that are harmful to the government and the society (such as porn, China did this while Japan did not.)

1. I appreciate your effort but I don't see any reason to argue over this matter. Never trust Alexa, but if you want to know, ranking of 4chan.org is #732, not #97000. At least you should read my post carefully to know that it's 4chan.org, not 4chan.com

2. Well again, you should read a post carefully before stating that its author's wrong 'cos I've never compared 4chan and government's censorship. Anyway, still don't see your point??

3. I think you misunderstand between what we call "personal" and "public". It's my personal blog, and it's set under my control. You can think of yourself as a trapper or be proud that you can tease me to fall for your trap or whatever, it's your matter, not mine. It's kinda funny when you said "Don’t you know that you shouldn’t reveal poster’s information?"

Well, thanks, and keep up your good work too, but please be more reasonable & considerate.

1. WOW, please check your fact before writing. How do you know it's a largest? Based on what? Google search returned only 1.6 millions hit, Alexa ranking is only 97,000 which is nothing, and cannot be called "largest online bulletins boards in the world"

2. When you don't have a credible support, you don't have a strong argument. Simply said, your comparison between 4chan vs Gorvement censorship is not a strong argument. That's it.

3. Yes, this was an obvious trap and you did fall for it. I intended to use Anonymous Proxy. I wanted to prove that there was nothing anonymous on the internet even without registration, and I knew that you can check my IP address, the same way 4chan forum can check their users' IP addresses.

In addition, you did show that you checked my IP address and tried to reveal that I am using Anonymouse Proxy. By doing that you contradicted yourself. In one hand you said that censorship is bad, and anonymousity is good, but on the other hand, you checked my IP and try to reveal that I am using fake name, fake email and fake IP. YES, of course, your blog doesn't require registration, remember? :) . Does it matter to you when you are supporting Annonymousity. :) :). Don't you know that you shouldn't reveal poster's information? hmm :(

Again, keep up your good works!

Yours, SUF.

Hey Suf, that makes sense :)

1. Wow, you surprised me. 4chan may be not famous to most of us in Vietnam, but it is definitely one of the largest online bulletin boards in the world.

2. You're right about this, Jan & I also commented about it above. But still I don't see any contradiction to "censorship".

3. Is it a test for me? Then how do you address yourself now, if not anonym? Incognito? Why you have to use a fake name, fake email and fake IP address via Anonymouse.org?
